Sexuality in the Arts

I don’t like to put words with pictures often because the images speak for themselves.  And words can sometimes confine images, and I don’t wish to do that.  But I do want to emphasize one consideration when evaluating and looking at Mapplethorpe’s work.  Look at HOW MUCH BEAUTY he saw in so many different and diverse types of people.  He saw it and couldn’t help but show it to others.  That’s not a bad goal to aspire toward.
