I wrote to sneed recently: ”In (your recent) illustrations and in the work you posted over a year ago, there are strong visual themes of violence and sexuality. But it’s not “sex & violence” as commonly conceived. To me, it’s more “sex vs. violence.” They are opposing visual forces. In the worlds you create, both occur out of the darkness, and it is often your nudes that capture the most light. Extraordinary work.”

3923 people visited this blog yesterday. Please feel free to leave comments that encourage the artists, add interpretative ideas, or like some of you have kindly done already, express any personal positive effects of the artist’s works. It’s sometimes discouraging to me when more people are willing to comment on Ultimate Fighting Championships and George Bush than they are willing to comment on more creative arts. Please don’t be silent. A purpose of this blog is to encourage artists.
Thank you to http://www.bessed.com for adding this blog to their blog directory today.
Tomorrow: new post(s)
I think people are a little overwhelmed at the stunning array of images. One is quite literally speechless.
Quite often the comment quality matches the article quality; and here people don’t want to say something inept.

Thank you ggwfung for your praise of the artists’ works.
Your blog http://ideasman.wordpress.com/ is interesting.
I liked the art and thoughtful commentary you shared on your post:

And I also thought SilverTiger’s responsive comments were well considered. http://tigergrowl.wordpress.com/
