Eberhard’s work reminds me of the following: The man who started “USA Today,” Allen H. Neuharth, wrote a biography/success book titled “Confessions of an SOB.” He crassly said one of his mottos was something someone else taught him a long time ago. And while I don’t support the language & terminology, I also don’t censor much. So here it is: “Put the tits above the fold.”
In journalism, it means put the story you think will sell papers on the top half of the front page so that people can see it on the newsstand or in the paper dispenser. That idea has obviously stuck with me, hence it is an emphasis in both my philosophies of life and my philosophies in editing the content of this blog. Similarly, Eberhard’s work reminds me of the priority of sexuality, human touch, and colorful beauty & intimacy. He reminds me that sexuality is not a secondary story. It belongs above the fold in life’s front pages.

cool to find your post ( while doing a google search on my name) . best regards. Bertrand
