Most Recent Artworks - All the Artists’ Artworks Index - my43things

Whoa. This is really neat to see how my photos compare to paintings I’ve never even seen before (in regards to the last couples ones).
Thanks for all these posts. I like to perspective you’ve come from.
Oh, the one in the field with my pants half off and my shirt half off was taken by Matt Wills. (http://www.mattwillsonfire.com). But other than that all the credits are correct.
Thanks again, this is really nice.

Thank you Katie for the feedback. Thank you for pointing out Matt Wills’ work. I added the Matt Wills credit, and the link to his site.
And to be clear in my intent, my intent was to give readers the observation that great artists, modern and classic, can have similar artistic intents and creations. I didn’t suspect you were trying to emulate anyone else’s work. For example, in some cases, like in the world famous John Singer Sargent painting “Madame X” comparison, I flipped the classic painting horizontal to accentuate the commonalities (bonus points to anyone who noticed that).
I’d be curious if Jim Frith is an admirer of either Rembrandt’s use of light, or if he is a fan of Magritte. His portrait of you also reminds me of some early Malcolm Liepke portraits (that I also love). I’d guess he is familiar with their works . . . but I am curious.
Your work is important and has value on many levels.
