Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir – Rebekka’s drawings

Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir is most known for her amazing photography and photo self portraits.  But I am blown away by her skills with pencils and pastels (like those displayed below).

Tomorrow:   I think I will not post tomorrow, but will post again on Saturday.  For regular readers, a possible note of interest:  There were 10 new comments today on posts from the last couple weeks, comments from two people who add intelligent ideas to any discussion.  Jace, I have always been drawn empathetically to Margot Kidder and her struggles – thank you for your complex thoughts.   gingermiss, intellects like yours give the world legitimate reasons to hope.

Those are amazing. They look almost like photographs at first glance. I can’t believe she’s more famous for her photography!

@emperorbananaketchup (gotta love that user name) no, that’s not cameron diaz, that’s drawn from a photo that was taken of me several years ago when i was out with friends, quite drunk.. i don’t look much like me on it, but its me nonetheless.

and its nice to see someone blog my drawings, i think over half the people who have noticed my photography and enjoyed it have completely missed the drawings, which is what i was doing before i realized i wanted to become a photographer.
