Multiplying Pleasures, Emotions & Ideas
The ideas for this post came to me in a dream last night. Sleeping dreams often help me find solutions I don’t find easily while awake. Last night, I gathered most of the pictures below into one place (from collecting I do regularly because I enjoy collecting lovely images). But I did not know the reasons why. I didn’t have a cohesive theme or understanding of why I was gathering these specific images. I was also dealing with a stronger than usual episode of sadness and depression, from problems from my distant past that still remain. Somewhere, through my psyche’s sleeping travels, this post formed some structure and clarity by morning.
Sometimes, when I think how I will be dead someday, my brain responds by thinking, “I’d better plant some more beauty before I go.” Yes, that may be odd, but that’s how my brain works. I would like this world to be left with more beauty, pleasures, solutions, & clear reasonings when I am gone. It’s not very interesting that the world know about me; but what I have seen, felt, and learned may be worth sharing.
Below are artists, who when faced with only one life, only one opportunity, and only one voice have possibly also decided to bend and break “the rules” by multiplying and publishing their pleasures, creating beauty beyond themselves for the consideration and possible benefit of others.
