  1. One of my all time favorite photographers…and his wife my absolute favorite artist….Beautiful….That last in the water, is one I’ve never seen before. Incredibly erotic…and compelling…

  2. I started reading a Georgia O’keeffe biography and there is quite a bit of interesting info about her life as well as Stieglitz. The title is called “Portrait of An Artist” by Laurie Lisle…it’s a wonderful reader and I recommend it if you’re interested in knowing much more about the O’keeffe and Stieglitz.

  3. It’s so interesting how people dismiss Georgia O’Keefe because of all the flower posters pushed upon the masses. I did. Till I watched the American Masters vids from PBS. Artist Awakening. I love those publications!!

  4. Many of Stieglitz’s sensitive photographs were suppressed
by the amateur killers in contemporary editing for many
    years.

I knew that he had Wisdom…and probably put up with a lot
    of unarty painting.
Definitely a Better Subject that the Self-Portrait Michael
Mathers showed in a Gallery in Oregon City, Oregon.
As Mike said, “Photography is having a bad time right now.”
