    There is a wonderful sense of weight in the limbs and flesh of these figures. In one of the paintings, the implied sequence of motion reminded me of some Feldenkreis excercises I had done a couple of years ago and of how the movement had created a total feeling of awareness in every part of my body. I particularly like how this painter “dissolves” the contour of portions of the body in some places to create sections of de-emphasis, of the body melting into ground, and love the acid pallette of colours. Lovely stuff. G
