Commentary:  A couple years ago, I was shopping in a bookstore when I received a call on my cell phone from someone I didn’t know, but who I cared about.  To say the call went poorly would be a gross understatement. 

Today, as I walked into the same store, the song “Hey Eugene” was playing in the music section.  I knew the song, but not the version I was hearing.  I asked the clerk who the artist was.  I suggested, “Is it Pink Martini?”  She said, “No, I don’t know her name.  It’s like one of the last songs on the album we’ve been playing for the last hour.  It’s like the 11th or 12th song on the CD.” 

She went behind the counter, and pulled the CD from it’s featured spot.  She handed it to me – it was China Forbes’ solo CD.  China Forbes is the lead singer for Pink Martini.  I thanked the clerk, and I read the song list. 

When I got home, I visited China Forbes’ website:
