If you’ve admired the acting ability of Robert Downey Jr. for many years, since his roles in movies like “Less Than Zero,”
“Chaplin,” or “Two Girls and a Guy,” then you may know some of his remarkable acting gifts.
He plays the part of Tony Stark sublimely in the new Iron Man movie. He is on fire. Every risk his character takes is amplified by the authenticity of Downey’s channeled experiences. The movie is a delight, and I highly recommend it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Thanks for the wonderful photos of Robert Downey, Jr. I think the reason why so many people (myself included) really liked Iron Man is because he brought a very rare kind of intelligence to the role. In other words, he made “Tony Stark” real — in his hands, the comic book character became a human being, with fire in his eyes. I think you know what I mean when I say that even in real life, one doesn’t always come across a man with the kind of personality that burns in his eyes — a “living flame”, so to speak.
I’m curious about the first photo; it is, at least in my opinion, a wonderful blend of sensuality and tenderness. Would you have any idea who the photographer is?

I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Robert Downey, Jr. I recognized how talented he is years ago. I always found him attractive, but, his portrayal of Tony Stark in IronMan; has taken him to a whole different level of SEXY. I always loved his quickness and sense of humor, now add the intelligence and just down right FINE!!!! He definitely improves with age! He’s definitely my new fantasy, lol. I think Robert Downey Jr. is a very intresting man. The first time I saw IronMan I loved the movie so much that I had to see the movie again. This man is so talented, I personally think he is a pro at what he does. He is the coolest person ever, I think I’m going to have to put him in front of Jim Carry on my favriot actors list.

Hollywood is full of disposable pretty boys. I’m not above noticing that Robert Downey, Jr. is attractive, but if that was all he brought to the table he would not be so memorable.
This is a man who is fearless in the manner in which he plays a role. I studied silent film in college, and went to see “Chaplin” just to see how bad it would be. I was sooo impressed! Few people realize the intense physical work he must have done to make that role believable.
His life is written on his face, the ups and the downs, the suffering and the joy. It will still be beautiful when he’s 90. The great actors always shine through their eyes that way.
If you “Iron Man” fans want to see something moving, try “Fur: an Imaginary Biography of Diane Arbus”. That beautiful body is hidden for most of the film, but his beauty of soul shines through.
And yeah, if the body is what you’re after, you’ll get your payoff at the end. Who knew shaving could be so sexy?
